They are not packed by an outside source but the same people who pack the MREs for our military. Our meal bags are strong and able to withstand being wet, being dropped from high altitudes and being stored in a work truck for extended periods of time.
SHELF LIFESOPAKCO uses an estimated shelf life figure of “5 years, plus or minus” for its fully prepared pouched food products. Actual shelf life may vary from this estimate. A key factor effecting actual shelf life is the temperature of the storage environment. Storage at temperatures in excess of 85F may shorten the shelf life of fully prepared food products. read more
